Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking an Assistant Electrical Designer in Charlotte, NC for a contract-to-hire role. You will support electrical project design, drafting, and documentation across diverse client projects.

Onsite work is required with collaboration among engineers and designers to ensure standards and accuracy. The position requires 2+ years in drafting or related fields, proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation, and strong 2D/3D CAD skills, plus solid communication and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in drafting technology or related field plus 2 years related experience, or
• Associate Degree with 3 years related experience, or
• 4 years progressive detailing and design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical project designs including schematics, grid layouts, power systems, lighting, protection and controls; follow standards.
• Set up electrical CAD configuration and procedures per project requirements.
• Prepare engineering drawings from rough sketches using CAD software.
• Produce drawings within scope, budget and schedule.
