Jobot is seeking an Electrical Data Center Commissioning Engineer to support large-scale mission-critical and data center projects across the United States. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Trade school certification, electrical license, or equivalent training highly valuable.
• Experience in electrical construction, commissioning, startup, testing, or field engineering environments.
• Prior exposure to data center, mission-critical, industrial, utility, or large commercial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and QA reviews across commissioning phases.
• Verify installation, startup, testing, and readiness of electrical systems and equipment.
• Review project docs, specs, submittals, and testing reports for compliance.
• Generate and maintain commissioning documentation.
• Use project management/quality software to document activities and progress.
• Participate in commissioning readiness reviews and milestone inspections.
• Identify deficiencies and assist teams with issue resolution.
• Maintain compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Support commissioning managers and project teams throughout execution.

About the Opportunity

A nationally recognized engineering and consulting organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Specialist to support large-scale mission critical and data center projects throughout the United States. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while requiring extensive travel to project sites.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction, commissioning, testing, and quality assurance of critical power infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and quality assurance reviews throughout various commissioning phases.
• Verify installation, startup, testing, and operational readiness of electrical systems and equipment.
