JMF Underground Inc is seeking an Electrical Crew Lead to provide day-to-day leadership and technical guidance to a field crew performing underground electrical construction. You will oversee conduit installation, cable placement, grounding systems, and trench operations, ensuring work meets project specs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in electrical construction, underground utilities, or related field.
• Practical knowledge of electrical construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and understand plans.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct a crew performing underground electrical construction.
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and plans.
• Ensure installations meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily work activities for efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct pre-task safety discussions and identify hazards.
• Train laborers and provide hands-on guidance as needed.
• Oversee conduit, cable placement, grounding, and equipment installation.
• Maintain safety documentation and production logs.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance.
• Travel to project sites as necessary.
