Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Coordinator to support project teams with construction documents produced in REVIT and AutoCAD, collaborating across disciplines.

You will evaluate electrical design approaches, review technology documents for conflicts, write specifications, coordinate with owners and architects, and help manage field inspections and contracts, all while maintaining deadlines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with Electrical emphasis is required.
• Desire to pursue registration and career growth.
• Strong computer skills using AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and documentation.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Produce construction documents in REVIT, AutoCAD, and other production tools.
• Evaluate electrical engineering techniques and procedures; modify as needed.
• Collaborate with owners to develop recommendations.
• Review technology documents for conflicts with other disciplines.
• Write/edit technology specifications; select equipment and devices.
• Handle contract administration with field inspections and conflict resolution.
• Coordinate design with architectural staff and other engineering disciplines.
• Perform other duties as needed.
