Descripción de la vacante

CreateMe is seeking an Engineering Technician with strong electrical and wiring expertise to support development, integration, and improvement of automated apparel assembly systems. You\'ll work hands-on with prototype machinery, electro‑mechanical subsystems, control panels, sensors, and custom tooling to diagnose issues and push the platform toward commercialization.

This role emphasizes hands-on wiring, debugging, building, documenting, and turning R&D concepts into reliable, scalable

Formación

  • 5+ years of technical experience aligned with the responsibilities of this role.
  • AS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
  • Strong wiring experience: control panels, low-voltage systems, sensors, motor drivers, power distribution, cable management.
  • Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems, reading schematics, and using diagnostic tools (DMMs, oscilloscopes).
  • Hands-on experience operating, maintaining, or repairing automated or semi-automated machinery.
  • Ability to run experiments, follow test procedures, capture accurate data, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced R&D environment; able to work independently and collaborate effectively with engineers.

Responsabilidades

  • Assemble, wire, route, and terminate electrical panels, prototype control boxes, junctions, and harnesses following engineering schematics.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues (power, signal, grounding, noise, sensor wiring, motor drivers, PLC/IPC‑connected components).
  • Test, validate, and document electrical subsystem performance, including suggested wiring or hardware improvements.
  • Support electrical safety, labeling, organization, and preventive maintenance of prototype automation systems.
  • Operate prototype automation equipment, log system behavior, and identify repeatable bugs, gaps, or failure modes.
  • Collect, organize, and present experiment data—photos, wiring notes, test logs, parameter sets, timing data—for engineering debug and root‑cause analysis.
  • Assist in system bring‑up for new prototypes, including alignment, calibration, and integration of updated components.
  • Perform routine maintenance on R&D equipment; maintain logs; identify needed spare parts; track inventory.
  • Create or update SOPs, maintenance instructions, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Assist with technician‑level mechanical build tasks (mounting hardware, panel layout, fasteners, brackets, cable routing).
  • Support quality, safety, and lab operations standards at all times.
