Job summary

FLANDERS in Evansville, IN is seeking an Electrical Controls Technician II to assemble routine to moderately complex control panels, wire panels, and assist with on-site installation. You will read electrical layouts, lay out enclosures, and work with engineers and foremen to ensure proper placement and adjustments.

You will also perform tests, assist with repairs of drives and breakers, and help prepare finished assemblies for shipment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble routine to moderately complex control panels.
• Read and interpret electrical layout drawings and diagrams to determine panel layout and wiring.
• Lay out enclosures and components per drawings; coordinate with engineers and foremen.
• Install and wire basic to moderately complex controls per schematics.
• Perform continuity and function tests to verify wiring.
• Prepare assemblies for shipment and assist with drives, contactors, and breakers repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow company policies.
