Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Electrical Controls Supervisor is responsible for effectively managing and continuously improving this food processing facility's highly automated, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) technology-based machine and process control systems, in a manner that fully supports the Plant's daily production goals, the maintenance organization's mission, and the business's longer term capital project plans.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, developing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting PLC based control systems and related technologies to include Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Ethernet based PLC and Computer networking, Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), AC/DC Motor Drives, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Multi-axis Servo Controllers, Closed Single Loop Controllers, Digital and Analog Instrumentation, Sensors, Encoders, Actuators, etc. Supervising and directing the Plant's Electrical Maintenance Team in carrying out and accomplishing these technical tasks and responsibilities is an essential element of the job. Hands-on PLC programming and diagnostic skills will also be used routinely to drive high up-time equipment performance and process reliability.
