II Job Profile:
a) The job holder is responsible for:
Support the day-to-day business of the Electrical Controls Group within the SYSTEC Engineering Department. This includes amongst others:
- Generating Sales, quotation and estimating
- Supporting inside and field sales
- Supporting distribution channel
- Supporting direct OEM’s
- Troubleshooting
- Coordinating technical information with Munich Engineering Departments
- Providing schematics, general arrangement drawings
- Electrical panel/layout design
- Comprehension of the mechanical functioning of the machinery
- Conceptual design of the controls and energy transmission system
- Calculations of system performance
- Technical sizing and selection of components
- Electrical circuit design
- Detailed schematic generation
- Understanding the limitations and proper application of the products
- Programming of industrial and mobile PLC's and HMI's
- Technical sales visits & presentations
- Electro-hydraulic technical support of HAWE products
- Developing project scope, component selection, cost estimation, and electrical design details for as-signed projects
- Programming and implementation of HAWE, DELTA, IFM, STW and ALLEN BRADLEY controllers
- Design and develop software programs (PLC and/or PC based) specific to customer and project re-quirements based on PLC programming in structured text (ST) and (C) programming
- Debug and commission control systems at our facilities during the system integration stage and then at the customer's site during installation
- Integration of CAN-BUS, ETHERNET IP, and other networked systems
- Travel, as required, to customer and supplier sites to perform installation, commissioning, and training duties (North America & Europe)
- Design and develop HMI screens for various manufacturers such as Murphy, IFM & Allen Bradley
- Closed Loop Motion Control expertise with various products such as RMC
- Radio Remote Control specification for various manufacturers such as Omnex & Scanreco
- SCADA system configuration and interface
b) Training for customers and staff. This includes amongst others:
- Supporting Training sessions done in North America
- Training of internal and external customers on HAWE control products
- Preparing Presentations for training sessions
- Presenting materials in training sessions

a) Knowledge, skills, experiences:
- 0-2 years of experience with Mobile/Industrial electronics design with PLC and HMI programming
- Advanced PC computer skills
- Knowledge of HAWE products and systems including all HAWE software
- Good fluid power application and troubleshooting skills
- Good proposal writing skills
- Good organizational skills
- Good problem-solving and reasoning skills
- Good presentation skills, both customer level, and formal training level
