Job summary

LALA U.S., Inc manufactures Yogurt Smoothie with Probiotics and other dairy products in a highly automated facility. The Electro/Mechanical Technician will perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth production and food safety.

Role offers a 6:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule Wednesday–Saturday (some weekends) with a $5,000 hiring bonus and comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and PTO/personal holidays after one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
• Experience with food processing/packaging equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of production machinery repair, pneumatic/hydraulic, and electrical/electronic skills.
• CMMS experience is highly desired.
• Ammonia Training is a plus.
• Must maintain excellent organizational skills and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• At least two years in Maintenance with Robotics, Automation, PLCs; Electro/Mechanical background.
• Regular attendance during scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on assigned systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions using tests and publications.
• Report and take action to prevent food safety and quality problems.
• Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production lines and systems.

Essential Functions For The Electro/Mechanical Technician

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on assigned systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test systems and technical publications
• Shall be responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
• Assist in and able to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production lines and associated assigned systems.

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must possess a strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
• Maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of production machinery repair, troubleshooting, pneumatic/hydraulic and electrical/electronic skills.
• CMMS experience is highly desired.
• Ammonia Training is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize work across multiple tasks in a highly demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Qualified candidates will possess at least two (2) years of experience in Maintenance with knowledge of Robotics, Automation, PLC's and have a strong background in Electro/Mechanical Maintenance.
• This position requires regular and prompt attendance during the working hours scheduled by the Department Supervisor.
