LALA US in Omaha, NE is seeking an Electrical Controls / Mechanical Technician for 1st shift, offering a $5,000 hiring bonus and competitive pay of $31.59 per hour. The role involves maintaining automated production lines, diagnosing electrical/mechanical issues, and ensuring food safety standards in a highly automated facility.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting robotics and PLCs, and collaborating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance background.
• Maintenance on food processing equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of production machinery repair, troubleshooting, pneumatic/hydraulic and electrical/electronic skills.
• CMMS experience desired.
• Ammonia training a plus.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Minimum two years in maintenance with robotics/automation/PLCs.

Hours for the role are 6:00 AM-4:30PM Wednesday-Saturday some weekends

Essential Functions For the Electro/Mechanical Technician

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on assigned systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test systems and technical publications
• Shall be responsible for reporting and taking any necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
• Assist in and able to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production lines and associated assigned systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must possess a strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
• Maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of production machinery repair, troubleshooting, pneumatic/hydraulic and electrical/electronic skills.
• CMMSexperience is highly desired.
• Ammonia Training is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize work across multiple tasks in a highly demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Qualified candidates will possess at least two (2) years of experience in Maintenance with knowledge of Robotics, Automation, PLC's and have a strong background in Electro/Mechanical Maintenance.
• This position requires regular and prompt attendance during the working hours scheduled by the Department Supervisor.
