Our client in Marietta, GA is hiring an early-career Electrical Controls Engineer who’s ready to work hands-on with automation systems across the country. This hybrid role includes both office/shop work and up to 70% travel to customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and program PLCs, HMIs, and control panels

  • Use AutoCAD or EPLAN to generate electrical schematics

  • Wire machines, debug control systems, and assist with builds

  • Travel for installations, commissioning, and operator training

  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers on configurations

  • Support testing, documentation, and system proposals

You Should Have:

  • Experience with PLC platforms like Allen-Bradley or Siemens

  • CAD design skills (AutoCAD Electrical )

  • Solid understanding of control systems and industrial protocols

  • Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot in the field

  • Willingness to travel up to 70%

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with robotics or motion controls
