Job summary

Impact Solutions in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to design and implement electrical controls and panels for web handling systems. The role requires 2+ years experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens controls, plus hands-on HMIs, drives, and web handling operations.

You will travel domestically about 4–6 weeks per year to install and commission systems at client sites, manage panel builds, coordinate with project teams, and ensure costs and timelines are met.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering.
• 2+ years of Allen Bradley, Siemens or Parker-Hannifin controls experience.
• 2+ years of HMI experience.
• 2+ years of web handling experience.
• Ability to travel domestically 4 - 6 weeks annually.
• US citizen or green card holder.
• Residence within 45 minutes of Appleton, WI.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical controls and control panels for web handling systems.
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
