Job summary

Copeland seeks an Electrical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical and PLC engineers. You will design control circuits, read schematics, size conductors, and develop panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN, collaborating with vendors and customers to deliver on time.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years in electrical controls and design, and strong communication and organizational skills, with a safety-conscious mindset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3+ years of electrical controls and design experience is required.
• Must read and interpret electrical schematics and piping/instrumentation drawings.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN engineering tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to PLC controls platform.
• Manage customer electrical equipment projects.
• Support team members on electrical system product improvements and standards.
• Serve as subject matter expert and troubleshoot issues with customers; provide product training.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and piping/instrumentation drawings.
• Work with AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN engineering tools.
