Engtal Inc. is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to own electrical design and controls programming for custom industrial furnace equipment in the Dayton area.

You will drive from initial engineering and design through programming, testing, startup, and final implementation on highly engineered systems. Ideal candidates bring hands-on PLC experience with Allen-Bradley, AutoCAD skills for schematics, and the ability to work across engineering, project, and manufacturing teams in a

Formación

• 3+ years of electrical controls, automation, or related engineering experience.
• Hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs; Siemens PLC experience is a plus.
• Ability to develop or modify electrical schematics in AutoCAD.

Responsabilidades

• Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and BOMs using AutoCAD.
• Design electrical control systems for custom industrial equipment.
• Develop and program PLC and HMI applications from scratch.
• Test, troubleshoot, and debug electrical and PLC systems.
• Work primarily with Allen-Bradley controls; Siemens is a plus.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and manufacturing teams throughout the equipment build.
• Provide technical support during equipment startup and commissioning when needed.
• Troubleshoot customer equipment and controls issues as they arise.
