Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree with emphasis on Control Systems or equivalent.
• Customer-oriented attitude with experience providing technical support.
• Ability to create design packages using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Understanding of electrical schematic drawings.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Application Engineering to define control cabinet opportunities and costs.
• Review customer control system designs and lead improvement discussions.
• Assist sales by engaging customers in technical discussions.
• Create drawings and parts lists for customer orders.
• Use SolidWorks Electrical to generate schematics and layouts.
• Work with manufacturing and development to ensure product meets expectations.
• Identify tooling needs and design a work cell with Production.
• Choose materials and analyze costs.
