Job summary
MJ Recruiters, LLC seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support electrical, controls, automation, and process-control systems in a highly automated manufacturing facility in Mobile, Alabama. This hands-on role troubleshoots and improves existing systems while leading automation and capital-improvement projects from concept through startup.
The ideal candidate brings strong industrial controls experience, PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix / Siemens S7),
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5–10+ years in industrial electrical, controls, or process-control.
- Strong hands-on PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and/or Siemens S7.
- Experience with DCS/SCADA/HMI and instrumentation.
- Read electrical schematics, one-line drawings, and P&IDs.
Responsibilities
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-based control systems.
- Lead capital projects from concept through startup.
- Develop and maintain P&IDs, schematics, and control drawings.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and external resources.
- Support electrical safety and compliance requirements.
- Improve equipment reliability and plant uptime.
