Electrical Controls Engineer 3 - Material Handling

• Company has a need for an Electrical Controls Engineer. The successful candidate will have experience working in the material handling industry. Candidates must have the following qualifications:
• Experience with Allen Bradley Logix PLC controls platforms is essential.
• Experience with controls hardware design is essential.
• Experience with Siemens and Modicon PLCs is a plus.
• Design work is expected; experience in ACADE 2008 environment is beneficial.
• Willingness to work from high heights and using lifts.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and travel (25% to 45%).
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design of complex systems integrating hardware and software.
• Material specification, schematic preparation, and follow-up.
• Recommend ideas for productivity improvement, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
• Technical interchange and knowledge transfer related to process and product application in system design.
