Job summary

Automation IG, LLC in Chattanooga seeks an electrical controls engineer for a hands-on role designing panels and systems, programming PLCs and HMIs, and supporting startup and field service. Open to recent EE graduates, entry-level, and experienced candidates who are self-motivated and possess strong communication skills.

Travel may be required; all positions are first shift. Applicants should have a BS in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical degree with experience, and a solid

Qualifications

• Electrical engineer with degree or relevant technical degree and experience.
• Will consider fresh EE grads and entry-level.
• Must be US citizen.
• Strong communication and self-driven.
• 1st shift; travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Electrical design (panel & system) using CAD.
• PLC, HMI, Servo Programming.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Support in-house testing and on-site start-up of equipment.
• Maintain project documentation files.
• Travel to support projects.

Robotic / Automation OEM seeks electrical controls engineer. We have an immediate opening and will consider recent EE grad, entry level and experienced. Duties include Electrical design (panel & system) using CAD; PLC, HMI, Servo Programming; Providing Technical Support and Troubleshooting; Support in-house test and on-site start-up of equipment; Maintain project documentation files; Work with others in fast-paced team environment; Travel as required to support projects. Must be US citizen. Must have good communication skills and be a self driven and motivated individual who strives for excellence. Prefer B.S. in Electrical Engineering but will consider Associates degree or other relevant technical degree and experience.
