Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience designing and programming Fanuc CNC controls.
• Experience with AutoCAD and schematic design.
• 3+ years of experience with industrial machinery or equivalent.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to apply general math concepts (fractions, metrics, ratios).
• Experience with Milacron equipment, preferably grinding machines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Designs, troubleshoots and diagnoses electrical and control panels on Milacron grinding machines.
• Supervises replacement of electrical components including motors, drives, wiring, panels, PLCs and power systems.
• Creates electrical schematics, CNC programs, PLC logic and mechanical drawings.
• Leads electrical upgrades, retrofits and system improvements to boost performance and efficiency.
• Orders all electrical components needed for projects.
• Uses testing and diagnostic tools to verify electrical functionality and safety/compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Electrical Controls Engineer to join their team in Cincinnati, OH. We are looking for someone who is skilled and detail-oriented and ready to contribute their skills to grow with our team.

The right candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred
• Experience Designing and Programming Fanuc CNC Controls
• Experience with AutoCAD and schematic design
• 3+ years of experience working with industrial machinery and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to apply general math concepts such as fractions, U.S. Metric System Measurement, ratios, etc.
• Has experience working with Milacron equipment, preferably grinding machines
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
