Job summary

National Beverage Corp. in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Controls Technician to install, wire, and commission control systems, diagnose faults, and repair equipment while applying sound technical judgment.

You may represent the facility on Corporate Engineering projects as an Associate Project Manager and lead small in-house plant initiatives, collaborating across shifts to meet production goals and budgets.

Qualifications

• High School General Education Diploma or equivalent. Some college strongly preferred.
• Possess the ability to read and understand controls prints.
• A minimum of five years of experience in the maintenance of complex controls systems with multiple interactions is required.
• Must have knowledge of how PLC, SCADA and/or other industrial control systems work to include some minor programming. Emphasis on Rockwell Automation RS Logix5000 and SLC500 platforms
• Three years’ experience in the maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and process control equipment, in an industrial manufacturing setting including Food, Beverage, or other manufacturing industries.
• Technical training in electronics, instrumentation, and process controls
• Work with Thermocouples, Transducers, PLC, Motors, VFD Drives
• Update and Maintain Plant library of all PLC, HMI, and VFD drive parameters on Corporate Drive.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
