In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced industrial Electrical PLC and HMI machine control systems.ResponsibilitiesField Execution & Service: Analyze on-site engineering challenges, diagnose root causes, execute precision repairs, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize machinery performance.Programming & Controls: Program, test, configure, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) or SCADA platforms.Client Consultation: Work directly with customers to identify technical specifications, design precise control loops, and select optimal electrical components.System Integration: Oversee the successful installation, hardware integration, wiring verification, and system start-up of machinery on-site.System Design (Plus): Design and detail accurate electrical drawings, schematics, and control loops for newly integrated automated systems.RequirementsEducation & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Technology (BSEE / BSEET) OR equivalent hands-on experience as a skilled Industrial Controls Technician.Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of industrial automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and variable speed motor controls.Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and corporate clients.Component Selection: Proven ability to analyze machinery requirements, map control loops, and properly source robust electrical control components.**Travel: **Able to travel locally in Ohio.
