Seven Seas Water Group is seeking an experienced Electrical / Controls Engineer based in Tampa to design and implement electrical systems for large seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plants. This role ensures efficient plant operations and involves significant travel to project sites in the Caribbean.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a strong background in industrial automation, and experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems. A hybrid work model is offered, with in-office requirements three days per week.

This is a hybrid role. Candidates must be living in the Greater Tampa Bay area, and be comfortable commuting to the office 3 days/week. Open to remote candidates outside the local area who are willing to travel on-site.
Candidates will also need to be comfortable with travel throughout our locations in the Caribbean as needed for local project support. The Electrical / Controls Engineer position requires experience in designing electrical power and control systems for process systems. Experience in seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination industry is a plus, but not required.
This role is responsible for Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, Power Distribution/Electrical Engineering, and plant PLC/SCADA programming for large SWRO systems. And for supporting existing facilities with network architecture, enterprise-wide data collection, upgrades, and firewall/security issues. Must be experienced with PLC architecture and programming, SCADA development with FactoryTalk, and general SCADA client/server architecture and implementation. Capable of programming as well as overseeing PLC design and programs of other programmers and engineers.
Design, develop, and lead procurement of power system equipment including MCC, Switchgear, distribution, and VFD’s. Capable of developing electrical single-line diagrams. Capable of specifying all power distribution equipment including transformers, switchboards, MCCs, drives, panelboards, etc.
