Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a subsidiary of IES Holdings, seeks an Electrical Construction Project Manager for Data Center work in Pecos, Texas. Works with Sr. PM to manage one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new opportunities in the region.

Responsibilities include managing all project phases, ensuring NEC/ OSHA compliance, and representing the company in meetings. Travel is required; the role involves budget control and pricing for change orders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years electrical construction project management on $10M+ projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Electrical license (Journeyman or Master) preferred.
• Proficient computer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel.
• Pass pre-employment background and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management in all phases of construction for electrical projects.
• Manage projects to exceed customer expectations and follow NEC and OSHA.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and standards.
• Represent company in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations.
• Handle contract finances to protect company interests and maintain client relations.
• Perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and related work.
• Work is performed from the project site.

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, seeking Electrical Construction Project Manager-Data Center, Pecos, Texas.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

Job Summary

• Works with the Sr. Project Manager to provide overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area.
• Manages projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements.
• Works with the Sr. Project Manager to establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
• Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations, strategy meetings.
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients.
• Ability to perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and project related work.
• Work is performed from the Project Site.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years' electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $10M+ including mission critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
• Bachelor's Degree engineering or construction management preferred.
• Valid Electrical License on Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
• Proficientcomputer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Accubid, Blue Beam, Procore, CX Alloy, BIM360, MS Project, P6 and other industry standards.
• Business knowledge of vendors in respective electrical construction industry.
• Ability to travel.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.
