Job summary

Hurst Electric is seeking a Project Coordinator to support our Project Engineers on commercial electrical construction projects across the DFW Metroplex. This role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional looking to gain hands-on experience in construction project management.

As part of our team, you will coordinate with vendors, customers, and field staff, manage documentation, and assist with scheduling and procurement.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional demeanor.
• High attention to detail and accurate project documentation.
• Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing requirements.
• Willingness to support project scheduling, procurement, and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Engineers with coordination of commercial electrical construction projects.
• Prepare and track purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and other documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, customers, and field personnel.
• Assist with project scheduling, material procurement, and delivery tracking.
• Maintain accurate project files and records.
• Monitor progress and follow up on action items.
• Assist with meeting coordination and project correspondence.
• Keep documentation organized, up-to-date, and accessible.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
