Job summary

Crossland Heavy is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee electrical subcontractors on Water and Wastewater Plant projects. You will drive schedules, procurement, submittals, and commissioning while ensuring safety and quality.

You will manage E&I subcontractors, align with project controls, and ensure startup readiness, startup plans, and successful project delivery under NEC standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years as Electrical Superintendent or Project Manager focused on Water/Wastewater.
• Graduate from electrical trade school or bachelor’s degree in electrical field.
• Journeyman or Master electrical license required.
• Proficient in BlueBeam or Adobe Acrobat Reader for docs.
• Proficient in Excel and Office 365 for project tracking and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design/installation for Water/Wastewater systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical & I&C subcontractors for Water and Wastewater projects, on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for electrical and I&C work.
• Oversee procurement, ensuring timely purchase of materials and services.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, and change orders for all project phases.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure installations meet drawings and specs.
• Review and approve Subcontractor Pay Applications.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on progress and risks.
• Ensure NEC safety compliance and other industry standards.
• Utilize Primavera P6 and Procore to track timelines and milestones.
• Attend daily coordination meetings with Electrical Subcontractor.
