Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a motivated Zydeco-Laborer (Non-Driver, Electrical) to assist electricians on site, performing essential manual labor and maintaining a safe, productive work environment. This role does not require driving and involves outdoor work across varying conditions.

You will help with cable work, trenching, material handling, and general site duties while adhering to safety protocols and following directions from supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous construction or labor experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor (lift up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Knowledge of basic electrical safety is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with tasks like pulling and laying cable, trenching, and digging.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment on site.
• Prepare work areas to be clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform general job-site clean-up and debris removal.
• Operate hand and power tools safely under supervision.
• Erect and dismantle temporary structures, scaffolding, or barriers.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion.
