Job summary

Elite Executive Solutions in Houston seeks an experienced General Superintendent to lead field operations for a major electrical contractor focused on healthcare projects. You will oversee multiple superintendents and direct field teams across several commercial electrical construction projects.

The role requires strong leadership, safety, and quality discipline, with the ability to mentor emerging field leaders and coordinate with ownership and project management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial electrical construction preferred.
• Previous experience as a General Superintendent or comparable senior field leader.
• Proven ability to oversee multiple superintendents, projects, and large field organizations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, sequencing, manpower planning, scheduling, quality, and safety.
• Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to multiple Superintendents and their project teams.
• Direct field operations across multiple commercial electrical construction projects.
• Support the successful execution of a substantial backlog of current and upcoming work.
• Establish consistent expectations for safety, quality, productivity, scheduling, manpower planning, and project execution.
• Coordinate closely with ownership, executive leadership, project management, preconstruction, and field teams.
• Review project schedules, labor forecasts, staffing requirements, production goals, and operational risks.
• Allocate field leadership and manpower resources across multiple projects based on changing priorities.
• Monitor project performance and address scheduling, labor, coordination, productivity, or quality concerns before they affect project outcomes.
• Ensure field teams have the information, materials, equipment, and resources required to execute successfully.
• Develop and mentor Superintendents, General Foremen, Foremen, and other emerging field leaders.
• Improve communication, accountability, and consistency across field operations.
• Build strong relationships with general contractors, owners, trade partners, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support the successful delivery of complex healthcare and commercial electrical projects.
• Contribute to long-term operational planning, organizational growth, and leadership development.
