Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator with a strong background in commercial electrical construction and design-build projects. This is a key role in our preconstruction team, responsible for developing accurate, competitive estimates that reflect our high standards and help us win and deliver exceptional work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects, including design-build.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and design documents to develop accurate takeoffs and pricing.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field operations to ensure alignment between estimates and execution.
• Evaluate project risks, value engineering opportunities, and constructability.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Participate in bid reviews and client presentations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical estimating, with a focus on commercial construction and design-build delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, and construction practices.
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, or similar).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
