A leading electrical construction firm in Central Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Director of Electrical Construction to lead all operational aspects of projects. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and over 10 years in construction management, including significant leadership experience. Responsibilities include strategic oversight, budgeting, and managing stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project completion and adherence to industry standards. This position fosters a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects from conception to completion.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership and direction for all construction projects across the organization.
• Oversee pre-construction planning, including budgeting, scheduling, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
• Manage relationships with developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate project performance, cost control, and productivity.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project management teams to foster a high-performance culture.
• Drive process improvements, technology adoption, and best practices across construction operations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term growth strategies, market expansion, and business development.
• Resolve complex issues related to contracts, disputes, scheduling conflicts, or regulatory compliance.
• Represent the company with clients, industry partners, and at relevant events or meetings.
• Manage current team of 6 project managers.
