Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. in Yonkers, New York is seeking an Electrical Construction Cost Engineer to support the NYCDEP Construction Management team on a major infrastructure project.

You will deliver accurate cost estimates for design changes and field-condition change orders, evaluate contractor proposals, and assist in cost negotiations. This full-time, on-site role requires expertise in electrical estimating, collaboration with the project team, and the ability to prepare independent, auditable cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years of electrical construction cost estimating experience.
• Experience with estimating software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare independent electrical cost estimates for proposed and negotiated change orders, including quantity takeoffs and pricing.
• Evaluate contractor proposals and support time-and-material records for accuracy.
• Lead negotiations for electrical change orders and prepare auditable documentation.
