Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Electrical Construction Cost Engineer to join our NYCDEP Construction Management team in Yonkers, NY. You will prepare independent cost estimates for design changes and field-condition change orders, review proposals, validate labor, material, and equipment pricing, and support cost negotiations.

This on-site role demands a strong background in electrical estimating, proficiency with estimating software, and the ability to maintain auditable cost records for major

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or construction management.
Minimum five years of electrical construction cost estimating experience.
Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Prepare independent electrical cost estimates for design changes and field-condition change orders.
Evaluate contractor proposals and validate labor, material, and equipment pricing.
Lead cost negotiations and prepare auditable documentation for change orders.
Review time-and-material records for accuracy and completeness.
