Job summary

Bridgers & Paxton Engineers in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an Electrical Construction Administrator to join our Commercial Group. The role supports projects moved from design into construction, serving as a design-team representative on site and coordinating with Owners, contractors, and internal staff.

The position emphasizes collaboration, adherence to design intent, travel for day trips, and involvement from bidding through project closeout to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical construction or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with construction experience, or
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management with construction-phase experience, or
• Equivalent hands-on experience in electrical construction.
• Ability to travel (primarily day trips).

Responsibilities

• Visit project sites regularly to observe construction progress and quality.
• Prepare written reports for site visits and meetings.
• Review submittals, pay applications, and schedules for conformance.
• Assist in cost estimation, change orders, and project closeout activities.
• Support warranty-phase activities and punch lists.
• Attend meetings and document minutes.
