Job Description

A leading intellectual property law firm in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Patent Prosecution Associate to join its patent practice group focused on electrical and computer technologies. This position offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of intellectual property matters, including patent preparation and prosecution, post-grant proceedings, opinions and counseling, and IP litigation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications in the electrical engineering, computer engineering, and computer science fields.
• Conduct patentability, validity, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Provide technical and legal insights for post-grant proceedings and litigation support.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to develop and execute IP strategies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
