Job Description\
Technical Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in automotive component development, preferably with battery systems, 12V systems, or electromechanical components.
- Strong experience in 12V automotive systems, including components such as 12V batteries, alternators, 12V BSG (Belt Starter Generator), and related electrical components.
- Strong knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS) and electromechanical technologies.
- Solid understanding of automotive E/E architecture, EMC, FMEA, and packaging constraints.
- Experience with automotive component design, development, validation processes, and supplier management.
- Familiarity with quality tools, methodologies, and customer claim management.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and technical documentation.
Technical Skills & Component Development Experience
- In-depth understanding of the assigned component family, including both mechanical and electronic/regulator aspects.
- Experience in component ownership, technical development, and release activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with component release processes, including design reviews, validation sign-off, and production readiness.
- Strong automotive technical background, including:
- 12V electrical systems and components
- Mechanical requirements
- Vehicle electrical/electronic architecture
- Design FMEA (DFMEA)
- Technical drawing review and validation
- Packaging constraints and integration requirements
Validation & Quality Experience
- Experience with DVPR (Design Verification Plan & Report) activities, including validation planning, execution, and documentation.
- Ability to support validation activities and ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
- Strong experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to analyze technical issues, identify failure modes, and implement corrective actions.
- Experience supporting production quality improvements and customer claim resolution.
Supplier & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Experience managing and collaborating with suppliers during component development, validation, and release phases.
- Ability to work effectively with global engineering teams, suppliers, manufacturing, and quality organizations.
- Support technical discussions, design reviews, and issue resolution activities.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Support root cause analysis activities and corrective action implementation.
- Define and implement technical solutions to improve product quality in production while ensuring alignment with established quality targets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to component performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
