Axcelis Technologies in Beverly, MA, is seeking a Commodity Manager for PCBA, cable assemblies and wire harnesses. You will own global sourcing strategies, manage supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, and long-term agreements to secure cost, quality and delivery targets.

Partner with Engineering on DFM and obsolescence, drive risk mitigation for single-source and long-lead items, and lead regular supplier reviews.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or supply chain.
• Experience with PCBAs, cable/wire harnesses, electronics manufacturing, or contract manufacturers.
• Strong negotiation, cost-analysis, supplier-management, and commercial skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute global commodity strategies for PCBA and cable/harness suppliers.
• Lead supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations, contracts, and long-term agreements.
• Drive cost reduction through should-cost analysis, supplier negotiations, competitive sourcing, and design optimization.
• Manage supplier performance for cost, quality, delivery, lead time, and capacity.

• Identify and mitigate supply risks including single-source exposure, capacity constraints, long lead-time components, obsolescence, tariffs, and geopolitical risk.
• Lead sourcing and supplier readiness for new product introductions and engineering changes.
• Partner with Engineering on DFM, alternate components, standardization, and product lifecycle/obsolescence management.
• Lead recovery and escalation activities for supplier shortages or performance issues impacting production.

The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression asyou develop within the role.Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in theAxcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regularemployees working 20+ hours a week).
