Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing seeks an entry-level Electrical Commissioning Technician to assist in basic testing, maintenance, and installation of electrical equipment under close supervision.

You will support more experienced technicians while gaining foundational knowledge and skills for progression. The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 6+ years of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 6+ years of related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; reliable transportation.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing and maintenance of site/field equipment.
• Support installation, rearrangement, and removal of equipment and wiring.
• Perform basic testing, moving, and adjustments of equipment.
• Assist in field construction inspection to ensure compliance with standards.
• Maintain records and report inspection activities.
