Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant electrical commissioning experience or equivalent training.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, power systems and control circuits.
• Experience with switchgear and critical power distribution equipment.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and ladder logic.
• Familiarity with Modbus TCP/RTU and Industrial Ethernet.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, industry standards and customer specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive attitude with attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• NFPA 70 and OSHA 10 certification as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical commissioning projects alongside the Electrical Lead Commissioning Engineer.
• Work with critical power equipment such as switchgear, Remote Power Panels (RPPs) and Power Distribution Units (PDUs).
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), installation verification, equipment startups and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, control circuits and wiring issues to help ensure equipment performs safely and reliably.
• Collaborate with clients, third-party commissioning agents, suppliers and engineering teams.
• Review electrical drawings, producing technical documentation, tracking project progress and closing out outstanding punch list items.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and helping prevent recurring technical issues.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience with switchgear and critical power distribution equipment. Knowledge of installation verification, startups and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and ladder logic.
• Familiarity with industrial communications such as Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU and Industrial Ethernet.
• Understanding of electrical safety, industry standards and customer specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive attitude, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• NFPA 70 and OSHA 10 certification, as required for the role.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Must already have valid US work authorisation.
