Job summary

Rogers Electric is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead electrical commissioning across projects. You will plan, schedule, and document commissioning activities, review drawings and specs, and coordinate with project managers, field teams, and clients to ensure systems are ready for testing and turnover.

The role requires strong project management, safety focus, and hands-on testing experience with switchgear, transformers, UPS, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction or commissioning.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and construction practices.
• Experience coordinating testing agencies, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Proficiency with reading electrical drawings and plans.
• Knowledge of NFPA/IEEE standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the electrical commissioning process from planning through turnover.
• Develop commissioning plans, schedules, procedures, checklists, and docs.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with project teams and clients.
• Oversee testing of equipment, review test reports, and resolve deficiencies.
• Maintain logs and turnover documentation; support owner training.
