Job summary

Stantec’s global design teams seek an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to lead commissioning on mission-critical data center projects. You will plan, test, and document complex MEP systems, coordinating with contractors and client teams across locations.

The role requires extensive field testing, reporting, and travel; PE license is a plus and LEED/CXA certifications are beneficial. This is a full-time on-site opportunity with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years in engineering service delivery or design in MEP.
• Data Center / Mission Critical experience preferred.
• PE license in Electrical discipline a plus.
• LEED AP or CXA/AABC/ACG certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning projects across planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Perform design reviews, prepare scripts and reports, and oversee on-site testing.
• Develop SOPs and MOPs; maintain comprehensive commissioning documentation.
• Prepare test procedures and reports; manage logs and checklists.
• Produce comprehensive reports with recommendations for building operations.
• Lead testing and integration of HVAC, power, and building systems.
