Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Superintendent to lead the safe, efficient commissioning of major electrical systems on large industrial projects. You will guide pre‑commissioning, functional testing, and turnover, while coordinating with engineering, construction, vendors, and operations to meet readiness milestones.

Qualifications

Degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of large electrical systems.
Ability to lead and manage ~20 technicians through turnover and commissioning.
Familiar with completions workflows and readiness processes.

Responsibilities

Lead daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures.
Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of major electrical systems.
Conduct system walk-downs, identify deficiencies, and ensure readiness for testing.
Supervise functional testing and support issue resolution during commissioning.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, operations, vendors, and OEMs.
Track progress and provide status updates to leadership.
Maintain commissioning documentation and turnover packages.
