Job summary

Interstates is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Foreman to lead commissioning teams on complex electrical projects and data center builds. You will plan, schedule, and supervise field activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time execution.

We value hands-on leadership, deep motor controls knowledge, and the ability to read schematics. This role requires site presence and collaboration with foremen, site superintendents, and project teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical electrical degree preferred.
• 6+ years construction or data center experience.
• Expert motor controls, PLC, and industrial systems knowledge.
• Able to read schematics and one-line drawings.
• Willing to work on active construction sites.
• Proven experience leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews with a positive, accountable culture and escalate issues.
• Plan and coordinate daily and short-term work, manage resources.
• Ensure workmanship meets plans, standards, and quality.
• Enforce safety standards and participate in safety activities.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors on scheduling and workflow.
• Provide guidance, support and mentoring to crew members.
• Plan daily work and assist with resource needs and prep.
