Inceed is partnering with a company to recruit an Electrical CAD Drafter in Akron, Ohio. The role focuses on planning and producing electrical CAD drawings for substation power and control projects, contributing to accurate design documentation and team collaboration.

The position requires an associate degree in CAD, at least two years of drafting experience, and proficiency with CAD software and Bluebeam. On-site work in Akron with strong growth and learning opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a CAD-related program with minimum 3.0 GPA or CAD certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant drafting experience and proficiency with CAD software.
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Microsoft Office.

Position: Electrical CAD Drafter

Compensation: $27 - $28 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Akron, Ohio

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical CAD Drafter to join their team!

This is a strong opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional to support substation power and control design work on impactful electrical infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare electrical CAD drawings for substation P&C projects
• Update and revise technical drawings with precision
• Use Bluebeam to review and mark up project documents
• Support design work with ACADE when needed
• Maintain organized and accurate drawing files
• Collaborate with project team members on drafting needs
• Use Microsoft Office tools for day-to-day work

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s degree in a CAD-related program

• At least 2 years of relevant drafting experience
