Job summary

E2 Management Consulting in New Hudson, MI is seeking an Electrical AutoCAD Specialist to create and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts for custom production builds. You will work closely with engineering and shop floor teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of AutoCAD Electrical experience, an Associate Degree or CAD/Electrical Certification, and a solid understanding of control panels and PLCs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Associate Degree or CAD/Electrical Certification.
• Solid grasp of control panel layouts and components (relays, breakers, PLCs).
• Experience with manufacturing or custom engineered products.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and revise electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts in AutoCAD Electrical.
• Manage Bills of Materials, wire lists, and Engineering change orders.
• Review drawing packages to ensure 100% accuracy before production release.
• Standardize drawing templates, symbols and documentation practices.
• Maintain organized engineering files and revision history.
