Motion Recruitment Partners seeks an experienced Design Drafter III for an onsite 24-month contract in Fort Worth, TX. You will own the drafting lifecycle from initial research and scratch-built schematics to redline revisions and production documentation.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on AutoCAD Electrical skills, experience interpreting as-built drawings, and the ability to inspect electrical control panels to produce complete, accurate schematics from scratch.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD Electrical expertise for production-ready design packages.
• Experience creating drawings from scratch for electrical control panels.
• Familiarity with as-built drawings and redlines.

Responsabilités

• Electrical & CAD Drafting: detail wiring diagrams and schematics from scratch using AutoCAD Electrical.
• As-Built & Redline Execution: update drawings and apply redlines across deadlines.
• Engineering Collaboration: work with engineers and architects to gather requirements.
• Technical Calculations: compute dimensions, tolerances, materials, and weights.
• Process Documentation: draft production methods and manuals.
• Design Optimization: identify bottlenecks and propose redesigns.
