Job summary

Control Panels USA in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Drafter to join our manufacturing team as a full-time role. The Electrical CAD Drafter will utilize plan drawings to develop detailed drawings for fabrication of Control Panels and will also develop detailed design drawings and related specifications for manufacturing.

The successful candidate will create AutoCAD drawings for production, collaborate with project managers and production teams to ensure accuracy, and revise

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience using AutoCAD.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including schematics.

Responsibilities

• Create drawings in AutoCAD for production: panel cut-outs, back panel wiring, and complete control panels.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Generate and revise schematic drawings and wiring diagrams; ensure drawings are consistent with CP USA standards.
