Job summary

Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering in Lone Tree, CO is seeking an Electrical CAD Designer to help establish and maintain project standards, develop schematics, cable trays, and 3D models using MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.

You will work with project teams to ensure NEC compliance and deliverables from concept through construction, while contributing to safety, constructability and continuous improvement within the department.

Qualifications

0-2 years electrical design experience preferred but not required.
Experience using 3D programs such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, AutoCAD MEP or Navisworks.
Ability to conceptualize in a 3D environment and communicate via email.

Responsibilities

Develop schematics and one-line drawings from sketches or mark-ups.
Design duct bank, conduit, cable tray, grounding and lighting systems from concept to completion.
Create 3D models, check for interferences and constructability.
Route electrical cables in 3D to generate cable schedules and size pull boxes per NEC.
Produce plan drawings and details for electrical deliverables.
Assist in as-builts using RFI, ECN and red-marked drawings.
