Job summary

Rio Marine is expanding its field operations across Tampa Bay, FL; Staten Island, NY; Houston, TX; and New Orleans, LA. The Project Manager will lead a small team, coordinate procurement and logistics for equipment, and develop construction schedules while troubleshooting electrical circuits and ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires hands‑on electrical service experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in electrical service industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor are essential.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• TWIC, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, background check, and drug/alcohol tests required.
• Ability to read prints and interpret electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to ten technicians and duties daily.
• Oversee procurement and logistics of equipment.
• Develop construction schedules.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical circuits (simple to 3‑phase, power management, motor starters).
• Read prints and perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Safely operate Rio Marine vehicles.

Project Manager

• Manage up to ten techs and duties on a daily basis.
• Manage procurement and logistics of needed equipment.
• Construction schedule development.
• Trouble shoot and diagnose various levels of electrical circuits ranging from:

1. Simple circuits.
2. 3 phase power.
3. Power management.
4. Motor starters and start/stops.
5. Alarms/Automation.

• Must know how to use multi-meter/ amp meter/ megger.
• Terminate all types of electrical equipment.
• Read all types of prints.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications:

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent

Physical

• Ability to lift and carry 50lbs for extended distances.
• Ability to work in any and all adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and gangways up to twenty-five feet in height.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch and work above head for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate Rio Marine vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.

Personal Background

• Must be capable of acquiring valid TWIC.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a clean driving record with no DWI convictions.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
