Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Mechanical Assembler/Builder for 1st shift in Delaware, OH. You will assemble large electrical bins, install cables, wiring, and mechanical components using hand and power tools in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

The role involves reading blueprints, following instructions, and meeting daily production targets. This contract-to-hire position offers overtime, a $20.00/hr base pay, and opportunities for growth on long-term projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large electrical bins approximately 30 by 50 feet with accurate component installation.
• Run and route electrical cables throughout each bin per drawings and work instructions.
• Install and assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools.
• Interpret blueprints and assembly documentation to meet specifications.
• Measure materials with tape measures and other tools for proper fit and alignment.
• Follow safety procedures while working with tools and large structures.
• Collaborate with production staff to meet daily and weekly output goals.
