Job summary

Miller Electric is seeking a VDC Project Coordinator to manage VDC tools and processes across assigned projects, overseeing prefabrication while ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and within budget. The role requires strong communication, task tracking, organization, and collaboration to run small to midsize projects independently.

Responsibilities include dashboards, scheduling, coordination with field leadership, and ensuring VDC output quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in BIM/VDC project coordination required.
• Experience in construction trade, with a focus on electrical construction required.
• Navisworks and Revit experience in electrical construction required.
• Associated degree in CAD or construction management preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365; COINS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with field leadership and project management to optimize design.
• Maintain and update project dashboards and schedules with start/end dates.
• Ensure deliverables meet deadlines and budgets.
• Verify that VDC and non-VDC prefabrication work remains on schedule.
• Delegate manpower and determine project breakdowns and cost coding.
• Ensure quality control of VDC output such as constructability and installation drawings.
• Represent VDC in coordination meetings with PMs and GCs.
• Host internal meetings and document minutes to strengthen VDC and Prefab collaboration.
• Collect model completion data for submission to Director of VDC Business Operations.
