Job summary

Design Engineers in Middleton, WI is seeking a BIM Designer to transform building system designs into detailed plans using building information modeling software such as Revit MEP. You will develop coordinated layouts and produce sheets with floor plans, schematics, details, schedules, and notes under the guidance of engineers and designers.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in a related area or actively pursuing a related two-year degree.
• Knowledge of Revit MEP software is required.
• Navisworks knowledge is a plus.

Position:

Transforms building system designs and markups into detailed plans using Building Information Modeling software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Model building systems using Revit MEP software under the direction of an engineer or designer
• Coordinate layouts with all building disciplines under direction of a designer
• Create sheets including floor plans, system schematics, details, schedules, and notes
• Work with project team to meet deadlines
• Perform miscellaneous office duties

Education and Experience requirements:

• Minimum of two-year associate degree in related area OR minimum of 1 year completed working towards a two-year associate degree in related area
• Knowledge of Revit MEP software
• Knowledge of Navisworks a plus
